Patrick Yeung Celebrates 30 Years with Cathay Pacific

PCCCI had the privilege to be invited in the celebration of Patrick Yeung's 30 years of CX Journey, through a piano recital at the University of Santo Tomas' recital hall in EspaƱa, Manila.

Patrick started his CX journey as an assistant to the country manager in Manila thirty years ago, and established many long term friendships among his colleagues in the airline industry in Manila. His journey then brought him to different Asian countries. Currently he is the Country Manager of Taiwan and Korea.

Thus it was only fitting that Patrick chose Manila to mark his 30th year with Cathay Pacific, inviting his CX family and friends to the affair. Patrick rendered a choice repertoire in English, Chinese, French and German, accompanied by the daughter of a good friend, who had just graduated from UST.

Patrick also wanted to give something back to society and "pay it forward", as he had been blessed through his years with Cathay Pacific. Thus before ending the evening's program he highlighted the PCCCI's advocacy, and invited friends in the audience to make a donation to PCCCI to help out its scholars. And the audience responded generously! What a surprise and blessing for the PCCCI officers who attended the recital!

PCCCI was founded as a means to pay forward to their less fortunate countrymen the blessings Philippine cabin crew enjoyed being employed by one of the world's great airlines. It was a joyful occasion when one of their own managers, who had lived in and enjoyed the Philippines, chose to join hands with them in this cause.
